RYAN  Store Manager

After picking up road cycling at 15 my world changed forever and I eventually turned my passion into a career at 19. While I enjoy all aspects of cycling whether it be MTB, gravel, CX, it is road cycling that has captured my heart. Racing, training or the good old café roll, I can’t get enough.

My perfect day is a structure of training ride, sitting down with a coffee and watching any type of cycling race that’s going on around the world.

Cycling feeds my competitive streak and brings me a certain freedom, this is even better when mixed with the wonderful people I’ve met along the way.

After emigrating from Wales in 1987 I started cycling in order to take up triathlon. When running became too hard, cycling took over. I replaced triathlons with endurance challenges like Three Peaks and in recent years I developed a love for Mountain Bike XC races (the longer the better). Specifically, I enjoy the challenge of the Hiddenvale 24hr event as well as gravel events on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Participating in overseas adventures, such as riding from London to Paris as part of an event aiding handicapped cyclists following the Tour de France, bring me a sense of joy and accomplishment too.

Cycling fuels my competitive spirit, love of being outdoors and exploring SE QLD. I love working in an industry learning about what you love to do, it is very rewarding.

Riley  Lead Ride Consultant

Being a Brisbane boy, I have been riding local trails for over thirteen years and have a keen interest in all types of riding especially mountain biking. Give me dirt and two wheels and I’m at home.

Riding gives me an escape, along with the opportunity to push myself both mentally and physically. My passion for riding largely stems from the freedom it provides, which enables us to commute, explore, challenge, and push ourselves.

Mark  Service technician

I’ve been riding since I was a kid and love the mechanical art of bicycles. I have a deep knowledge of all things cycling that i’ve amassed over the years and while working in different cycling cultures. My time in UK enabled me to better understand not only different bikes, but also people and various cycling cultures.

I consider myself an expert on many cycling subjects and like working on any bike no matter how obscure. I enjoy the challenges of riding our local trails here in Brisbane, along with pushing myself on the roadie.
